Our programs

OUTREACH THROUGH COMMUNITY

Run For a Cure Ghana seeks to dispel myths and stigmas associated with breast cancer. They accomplish this through community outreaches at churches, through local fitness associations, specially developed materials, and providing speaking opportunities of their Pink Fighter Survivors

FREE SCREENINGS

Breast cancer is 98% treatable when detected in the early stages, so it is important that women develop the habit of getting an annual screening, especially women 40 years and above.

RFCA Ghana donates equipment and materials to deserving hospitals, hosts or finance breast health screenings at local hospitals throughout the year. All our screenings initiatives are at no cost to women who have been identified as economically disadvantaged.

TREATMENT

Breast cancer treatment can be very expensive. RFCA Ghana works to subsidize or cover the cost of treatment for women who have been identified as economically disadvantaged.

Awareness is a very vital component to the fight against breast cancer.

We provide and/or promote free educational materials and culturally-sensitive talks about breast cancer detection to local groups and associations.
